Press In is a gathering for the hungry and thirsty.

This passion and desire is satisfied in the atmosphere of worship and prayers. The sweet psalmist of Israel once wrote, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness” (Psalm 107: 8-9).

“The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then, the good news of the kingdom of God has been proclaimed, and everyone is strongly urged to Press In” (Luke 16: 16).

We find that God takes a special interest in those who can patiently press into His presence.

At His feet, difficult long-standing issues are resolved. The Gospel according to St Mark tells us about the encounter of a Syrophoenician woman who patiently pressed in (Mark 7: 24-29). Her story, among others reported by Jesus, emphasizes the importance of persistence in prayer (Luke 18: 1-8). Through passionate worship and persistent prayers, God satisfies His people with goodness.

An altar of prayer and worship

A team of young men and women (Youthquake) from across continents and nations gathered together in March 2020 to birth this mandate. Since then an altar of worship and prayer was designed for that purpose. One with a fire which must never be put out until all Nations of the world come to the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Leviticus 6: 12, Psalm 86: 9).

A global mission

Press In has been hosted in Jerusalem, Israel; Redemption Camp, Nigeria; across various cities in the United Kingdom; and the United Arab Emirates.

“Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed” (Revelations 15: 4).
